The Archives of the Episcopal Church USA Archivist for Digital Access and Holdings Management The Archives is seeking a confident, personable and energetic individual who understands the dynamic of a highly collaborative environment, and who is motivated by shared success and quality of service. The archivist will have a leadership role in devising new forms of intellectual control and information delivery, and is responsible for planning and implementing archival methods and technologies to improve corporate and public access to holdings. The position also includes accountability for cataloging, arrangement and description, Internet publication standards, and metadata capture and documentation. In addition to the standard skill set expected of a professional archivist, the candidate should have a keen interest in exploring new technology solutions for the benefit of our user communities.
Qualifications: Advanced degree in archives or information studies is preferred with two years experience in archival enterprise; however, demonstrated experience in a related field of information management will be considered. Although this is offered as a full time, professional position, we are willing to negotiate contract work (without most benefits) for the right individual, if desired. How to Apply.
