Resolved, That the 73rd General Convention challenge all dioceses and congregations to set aside 0.7% of their annual budgets to contribute to international development programs that address the root causes of poverty, ill health, illiteracy, and economic justice; and be it further
Resolved, That the 73rd General Convention welcome and commend micro-credit initiatives, as one way to enable the world-wide Anglican Communion to serve the neediest nations through micro-loan and small business training programs.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That the 73rd General Convention challenge all dioceses and congregations to set aside 0.7% of their annual budgets to contribute to international development programs including micro-credit programs; and be it further
Resolved, That the 73rd General Convention note that micro-credit programs transform the lives of the poor by creating jobs that affirm human dignity and loosen the chains of dependency, especially in the lives of poor women; and be it further
Resolved, That the 73rd General Convention welcome and commend Five Talents International, a new micro-credit initiative, created to serve specifically the world-wide Anglican Communion through micro-loan and small business training programs; and be it further
Resolved, That the 73rd General Convention affirm micro-credit programs already initiated by Anglican Dioceses and Churches as well as organizations like ECLOF (Ecumenical Church Loan Fund), Grameen Bank, Opportunity International, World Vision, World Relief, and others for their work to serve our poorest brothers and sisters in Christ.
