Federal Chaplains

Federal chaplains of The Episcopal Church provide support for individuals serving in the military and their families, veterans in the care of Veteran’s Administration, and individuals who are incarcerated. Federal chaplains have served alongside servicemen and women in the field, both domestically and abroad, providing spiritual and day-to-day support at military bases, camps, and installations around the world. Among the incarcerated and those seeking care in veteran’s hospitals, chaplains serve as a crucial bridge between the church and various government entities, facilitating spiritual care in these settings.
