Resolved, That the 70th General Convention of the Episcopal Church,

a. supports the Episcopal Council of Indian Ministries (ECIM), urging the Council to continue to develop and strengthen Indian Ministries;

b. commends the Presiding Bishop's Blue Ribbon Task Force for Indian Affairs for its work in developing the concept of the Episcopal Council of Indian Ministries;

c. acknowledges the twenty-one year contribution of the National Committee on Indian Work (NCIW) to the vital support of American Indian/Alaskan Native ministry, recognizing that NCIW has now been subsumed into ECIM;

d. thanks Coalition 14 for its partnership with Indian ministry, and its role in the development of a new expression of Indian outreach; and be it further

Resolved, That the Secretary of General Convention be instructed to send copies of this resolution to the Chairs of the Episcopal Council on Indian Ministry, the Presiding Bishop's Blue Ribbon Task Force on Indian Affairs, the National Committee on Indian Work, and Coalition 14.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That the 70th General Convention of the Episcopal Church,
