Title: Support Lifelong CPF Benefits for Disabled Children of Clergy

Final Text:

Resolved, That the General Convention, meeting in Louisville, Kentucky, in the Fall of 1973, express its mind to the President and Board of Trustees of The Church Pension Fund that the children of the clergy, disabled since childhood, and unable to provide for themselves, should be regarded as eligible dependents during their entire lifetime, and should be entitled to the same benefits under The Church Pension Fund as other eligible dependents; and be it further
Resolved, That the Board of Trustees of The Church Pension Fund be asked to make a thorough study, from the standpoint of legal and other considerations, of this problem and report to the next General Convention with their recommendations; and be it further
Resolved, That if, in their judgment, the Board can act to extend such benefits to these children in the meanwhile, they be asked to do so.
