Digital Archive for General Convention Resolution 2009-A143
The following responses were submitted to the Executive Council Committee on Anti-Racism by dioceses reporting on specific actions taken in response to the Resolution 2009-A143. The Resolution requests each diocese to (1) name a Day of Repentance, (2) hold a Service of Repentance, and (3) engage in a study of the Church's complicity in and benefits derived from the institution of slavery and its aftermath. Diocesan reports have been reproduced faithfully with the exception of the redaction of personal greetings and reflections.
