The Rev. Charles A. Cesaretti has resigned from the position of deputy for special parish studies at Trinity Church, Wall Street, in New York City. He will leave on September 1. Trinity's rector, Rev. Daniel Paul Matthews, said, "We are grateful for the enormous contribution this gifted priest of the church has made during his four years at Trinity. I am personally thankful for what I have learned from Charles and what this whole organization has received from his profound competence."

The Rev. Dr. Daniell Hamby has been named the new general secretary of the Consultation on Church Union (COCU). Hamby was ordained in 1977 in the Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) and is presently a postulant for Holy Orders in the Episcopal Church. He holds degrees from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina; Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia, and the University of Notre Dame, Indiana. He has pastored three congregations of the PCUSA and has served on its national staff.
