Resolved, That this 67th General Convention of the Church recognize and commend the work of the National Episcopal Coalition on Alcohol for its contribution to the Church through its programs of education and information in the field of alcohol and alcoholism by disseminating information in the areas of prevention, training, intervention, and recovery; and be it further

Resolved, That this 67th General Convention commend this resource to the several Dioceses and congregations of this Church.

Whereas, the disease of alcoholism continues to afflict all peoples in increasing numbers; and

Whereas, the Episcopal Church through its General Convention has often called to the attention of its Clergy and Laity the dangers and human toll exacted by this disease; and

Whereas, numerous resources exist for education, for treatment, and for recovery; therefore, be it

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That this 67th General Convention of the Church recognize and commend the work of the National Episcopal Coalition on Alcohol for its contribution to the Church through its programs of education and information in the field of alcohol and alcoholism by disseminating information in the areas of prevention, training, intervention, and recovery; and be it further

Resolved, That this 67th General Convention commend this resource to the several Dioceses and congregations of this Church.
