Resolved, That, if this is not done, this Convention urge the Congress of the United States to provide such extended voluntary departure status by appropriate legislation; and be it further

Resolved, That copies of this resolution be sent to the Attorney General and the Secretary of State.

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the 68th General Convention urge the Attorney General of the United States to declare extended voluntary departure to refugees from Haiti and Guatemala, and if this is not done; therefore be it further

Resolved, That this Convention urge the Congress of the United States be urged to provide such extended voluntary departure status by appropriate legislature; and be it further

Resolved, That copies of this resolution be sent to the Attorney General and the Secretary of State.
