Resolved, That the 70th General Convention recommend that every diocese review the reports of the Standing Commission on Health and other resources nationally and locally, with the intention of addressing the issues, establishing guidelines for healthy Christian living, informing our members, assisting the Church in voicing ethical insights in national debates on health matters, and sharing our concern and support with those working in the field of health care.

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the 70th General Convention recommend that every diocese establish a Committee on Health Concerns for the purpose of reviewing the reports of this Standing Commission and other resources nationally and locally, with the intention of addressing the issues, establishing guidelines for healthy Christian living, informing our members, assisting the Church in voicing ethical insights in national debates on health matters, and sharing our concern and support with those working in the field of health care.
Proposed Committee Amendment:
In line 2/3 delete the words "establish a Committee on Health Concerns for the purpose of."
In line 3 change "reviewing" to "review," change "this" to "the" and add "on Health" after "Commission."
