Resolved, That each congregation be encouraged to support engagement of social, economic, and political issues in the public and private sector with emphasis on advocacy and empowerment through individual and corporate witness to the faith as expressed in the Gospel and the Baptismal Covenant; and be it further

Resolved, That the Presiding Bishop be requested to enable the national office of Jubilee Ministry during the next triennium to undertake nine (9) regional events (one per province) as a means of enabling dioceses and local congregations to plan, implement and evaluate effective outreach programs in their communities; and be it further

Resolved, That the Jubilee Office with full participation by the Provinces develop design teams responsible for the implementation of these events; and be it further

Resolved, That partial funding for such events be requested at the rate of $100 per center, per year, from the dioceses having Jubilee Centers.

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That each congregation be encouraged to support engagement of social, economic, and political issues in the public and private sector through individual and corporate witness to the faith as expressed in the Gospel and the Baptismal Covenant; and be it further

Resolved, That the resources of the Church at the local, diocesan, and national levels be focused to facilitate that goal.

Proposed Committee Substitute:

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That each congregation be encouraged to support engagement of social, economic and political issues in the public and private sector with emphasis on advocacy and empowerment through individual and corporate witness to the faith as expressed in the Gospel and the Baptismal Covenant; and be it further
