Resolved, That the 70th General Convention of the Episcopal Church call upon the Congress of the United States to seek means to include the particular issues of women and children in the funding and design of AIDS/HIV research, treatment, and experimental protocols, and be it further
Resolved, That this Convention call upon the Congress of the United States to require the appropriate health agencies to define the medically eligible conditions of HIV/AIDS in women and children which will allow them access to treatment and assistance.

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the 70th General Convention of the Episcopal Church call upon the Congress of the United States to seek means to include the particular issues of women and children in the funding and design of AIDS/HIV research, treatment, and experimental protocols; and be it further
Resolved, That this Convention call upon the Congress of the United States to require the appropriate health agencies to define the medically eligible conditions of HIV/AIDS in women and children which allow them access to treatment and assistance.
