Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That the 75th General Convention strongly encourage regular use of the liturgical resources in “Enriching Our Worship I” for Sunday worship.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That the 75th General Convention strongly encourage regular use of the liturgical resources in the “Enriching Our Worship” I series for Sunday worship as appropriate.

The Bishop of Springfield moved to amend the resolution.

Deputy Simons of Pittsburgh moved that the resolution be ruled out of order due to the lack of written documents.

Deputy Kirk of Pennsylvania moved for the suspension of the rules.

Deputy Kirk of Pennsylvania suggested she should have appealed the rule of the Chair.

Deputy Goodheart of North Carolina moved to amend the resolution.

Deputy Johnson of Minnesota moved to suspend the Rules of the House to limit debate on each resolution considered during the afternoon session to 15 minutes, excluding continued debate on Resolution A136 and resolutions dealing with the election of the Presiding Bishop.

Deputy Martins of San Joaquin moved to amend the motion to include exclusion for any resolution considered from the Special Legislative Committee. Seeing no objections, the chair accepted the motion as a friendly amendment.
