Resolved, That Canon III.1 be amended by the addition of a new Section 3:

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the following sentence be inserted as the penultimate sentence in Title III, Canon 1.2 in order to restore the historical words adopted at the 1976 General Convention re the ordination of women: “The provisions of these canons for the admission of Candidates for the Ordination to the three Orders: Bishops, Priests and Deacons shall be equally applicable to men and women.”
