Resolved, That the 78th General Convention authorize the appropriate interim body of the convention, as determined by the Presiding Officers, to study the theological implications of permitting Presbyters of this Church to celebrate the Sacramental Rite of Confirmation for adults as part of those adults' baptismal liturgy, and to propose to the 79th General Convention the necessary canonical changes to authorize the Bishop holding jurisdiction in a diocese, if desired, to approve such Confirmations; and be it further
Resolved, That the Joint Standing Committee on Program, Budget and Finance consider a budget allocation of $40,000 for the implementation of this resolution.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That the 78th General Convention authorize the appropriate interim body of the convention, as determined by the Presiding Officers, to study the theological implications of permitting Presbyters of this Church to celebrate the Sacramental Rite of Confirmation for adults as part of those adults' baptismal liturgy, and to propose to the 79th General Convention the necessary canonical changes to authorize the Bishop holding jurisdiction in a diocese, if desired, to approve such Confirmations; and be it further
