Resolved, That in this Decade of Evangelism, we consider as an evangelical priority the overcoming of the sin of racism in our parishes, which sin prevents us from becoming the beloved community to which our Lord Jesus Christ calls us in the Baptismal Covenant; and urge that diocesan Commissions on Racism report to the Executive Council on the progress in these areas prior to the 72nd General Convention.
