Resolved, That the 1994 General Convention of the Episcopal Church urges the United States government to apply its refugee policies in a uniform and equitable manner without regard to the nationality, race or creed of those seeking refugee status so that, for example, those individuals from Central America and the Caribbean Basin can be treated equally with individuals from Eastern Europe and Russia; and be it further

Resolved, That the Secretary of the 1994 General Convention be requested to send a copy of this resolution to the President of the United States, the Secretary of State, the Director of the Immigration and Naturalization Services, and to the Episcopalian and other appropriate Members of Congress.
