Resolved, That the Executive Council ask the Presiding Bishop to instruct the Washington Office to carefully monitor legislative activity, provide education to legislators as necessary, and actively advocate for the U.S. Senate to ratify the U.N. Convention prior to the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, China in September 1995. |
