The Acts of Convention is a digital archive of the legislative actions taken by the General Convention for the years 1973-2022. It is created and maintained by The Archives of the Episcopal Church, and is typically updated following the publication of the Journal of Convention after the close of Convention.

The General Convention meets every three years and is comprised of two houses, the House of Deputies and the House of Bishops. Legislation, submitted by Interim Bodies, members of both houses, and dioceses and provinces, must be concurred by both houses in order to be adopted.

The Acts of Convention database standardizes language and metadata about the resolutions to facilitate searching. It includes the final text as adopted by General Convention and a full legislative history including the original resolution language, any amendments or substitutes, supporting documentation, and the final legislative action. For a full accounting of each Convention, beyond the official actions, please see the Journals of General Convention.

Users can search the database by year, resolution number, topic, or keywords.
