Resolved, That the 68th General Convention urge the Attorney General of the United States to declare extended voluntary departure status for refugees from Haiti and Guatemala; and be it further
Resolved, That, if this is not done, this Convention urge the Congress of the United States to provide such extended voluntary departure status by appropriate legislation; and be it further
Resolved, That copies of this resolution be sent to the Attorney General and the Secretary of State.
